Warm Holiday Greetings!
2020 may be the strangest year ever, but it had its share of happy moments, too.
Being socially isolated in our little house in the woods in upstate NY gave us
the chance to slow down and observe Nature in all her magnificence,
from the littlest chipmunk trustingly taking seeds from our hands,
to bald eagles skimming the treetops overhead.
We’ve also become better cooks, learning how to make pad Thai, tamales, báhn xèo…
OK; we’re a few pounds heavier but our pantry now holds a very interesting variety of ingredients!

In 2019, we completed our short documentary, Maria Torres: Neighborhood Artist and began entering it in film festivals.
To our delight, it was honored as an “Official Selection” at 18 festivals around the US!
After a Texas premiere, it was shown on a big screen in NYC.
Then Covid-19 hit, and the rest of our film festival experiences were online.
We really missed the warmth of live audiences and the pleasure of meeting fellow film lovers.
